Countless photos. Each with a story.

< 1 Min.The tour starts in Luleå in the north of Sweden. During the tour we hike in the Muddus National Park, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Laponia. Three nights in huts or tents, no WiFi, no electricity, no running water. Instead, pure nature and outhouse toilets. Re-poaching – just the way I like it.
< 1 Min.On board the ‘Resolute’, a comfortably equipped ship under the flag of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society, zoologists, ornithologists, oceanographers and glaciologists will conduct scientific surveys and counts over the next 10 days. And in the middle of it all, me, as a ‘temporary researcher’.
< 1 Min.Who would have thought that my beard, of all things, would get me in front of the camera? I am invited to the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic to shoot an public relations film for an eco-energy provider. On board, of course, my camera.
< 1 Min.The first day’s leg is already a tough one: we traipse through the sand for six hours. Our caravan is moving along the historic trade route that connected Jerusalem to Mecca for over a thousand years.
< 1 Min.Expedition into the depths of the Amazon region with all its inhabitants. I was in the middle of it with a small group and couldn’t get out of my amazement.
< 1 Min.Images from my Sumatra expedition with WWF’s Tiger Conservation Patrol and Biosphere Expeditions.
< 1 Min.I can’t say it any other way: this was the most awesome thing I’ve ever done: The five-day expedition through one of the largest caves in the world in Vietnam. I couldn’t forget the amazement and sweating.
< 1 Min.Borneo – what a paradise for nature photographers! Borneo’s jungle has a big biological diversity. What fascinates me most – besides orangutans and proboscis monkeys – is the variety of insects, which I got vividly close to with my new macro lens.
< 1 Min.Burma, Burma, again and again. We start in our heartland. New territory for us is Malaysia. And Singapore! From there, we’re heading to the rainforests of Borneo – with an interlude in the Sultanate of Brunei. And then we discover our great love for very small creatures!
< 1 Min.The Veddas are the indigenous people of Sri Lanka. Only a few still live very originally on the edge of a national park, far away from electricity and running water. For five days I take part in the life of the Veddas.
< 1 Min.Actually, we only wanted to stay in Sri Lanka for 3 months and then move on to India. But the dreamlike little pearl in the Indian Ocean has us firmly in its grip. There is simply too much to see, to do, to experience. Beaches, mountains, temples, exotic animals and plants, three religions and the best food in the world.
