26 Min. Where else in the world can you splash in the sea in the morning, walk in the rainforest at noon, and marvel at a desert with an active volcano in the afternoon? Reunion offers the most diverse variety of landscapes, vegetation and cultures that I know.
2 Min. Today, I climbed on the highest artificial climbing wall in the world: Luzzone Dam, Switzerland: 165 meters.
3 Min. “BE CURIOUS, BE COURAGEOUS” – this new call from Deutsche Telekom to its employees is, of course, right up my street. The Magenta Voice Program invited me to Darmstadt to give a keynote at the opening of the ‘Tribe Days’.
2 Min. Courage is good. No question about it. But I believe there is something even better than courage.
2 Min. Fantastic hikes through deep valleys, long lava tunnels and high volcanoes – that is La Réunion. While roaming the island, I was amazed – also at the varied bird life, crooked trees, oddball volcanologists and the scent of what is probably the best vanilla in the world.
4 Min. I have to admit, I’m a bit apprehensive about this upcoming bath. But it turns out to be just the right dose: an exciting tingle, outside my comfort zone, yet far enough away from panic territory.
8 Min. Suddenly I realized: I am in the habitat of lions, elephants, and buffalos. For three days. On foot. That was one of the most mesmerizing experiences I’ve had ever been on. Here are my two most important learnings.
4 Min. Venezuela, last month: The last two days of the path to the top of the table mountain Roraima is a sweaty grind: Steep, slippery, windy, and full of loose, sharp-edged rocks and mossy roots. This man, Jaime, doesn’t let on.
4 Min. One of the most fascinating places in Venezuela is this huge waterfall, which you can admire from behind. And then there was something else that amazed me.

I am very happy that my YouTube video about my Poland Ice Transformation has now been viewed over 100 000 times! 2 hours of shirtless mountain hiking in shorts – with a wind chill down to -19 degrees?! Together with 60 people from all over the world I learned incredible breathing techniques, ice baths and other great tools.
26 Min. Where do you find something like this: Mountains growing out of the rainforest? Lions that climb trees? And gorilla visits! Uganda is a sensation. The ‘Pearl of Africa’ surprises with unimagined natural abundance, an enormous variety of animals and friendly people.
