INFORMATION ON THE LIVE REPORT

WORLD CLASS – the world as a classroom

16 months of discovering, amazement and learning without limits. The Clavins make it happen: the world as a classroom! With their daughters Amelie and Smilla, they flew three times to Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia/Borneo/Brunei – a total of 16 months. The presentation, professionally programmed with Wings Platinum and digitally projected with a high-performance beamer in full HD on a cinema size screen, reports on the journeys of the family from Berlin with toddler, kindergarten child and schoolchild.

In this gripping live report, Malte Clavin and the daughters Amelie and Smilla reveal what it was really like in Southeast Asia. They tell of fascinating people, wild animals and foreign cultures. The small and big adventures of the lively everyday life include, for example, the climb to “Adam’s Peak” (Amelie: “That was the most strenuous thing I’ve ever done”), bathing the orphaned child elephants, weeks of barefoot everyday life under palm trees and learning for the German school at one’s own pace – all memories and experiences for life.

Unlimited time for the family, replenish the spiritual bank account – “of course it’s possible!” say the Clavins with conviction. “We want to discover the world together with our children,” the couple decided after their first long-term trip together, “this vision will be the centre of our lives from now on. Because no one can take this wealth away from us and our children.“

Naturally every trip is also a risk. Financially, organisationally and when the inevitable virus called Gifti makes itself known and infects the Clavins with doubts and fears. WORLD-CLASS shows how the “globile” life plan nevertheless succeeds – and how much fun such a trip is with the whole family.

The photo and film show is a tremendous encouragement and a captivating source of inspiration for mums and dads who dream of a time-out for the whole family. Everyone else can look forward to the best of entertainment.
